Staying with the fishy theme try this its seriously good and healthy

Masala fish

3 cloves garlic, crushed

3 fresh red chillies, finely chopped

250ml tomato puree

5ml ground coriander

5ml ground cumin

30ml lemon juice

1kg fresh line fish sliced

30ml oil

2 onions, sliced

5 curry leaves

Method

In a large glass dish, mix the garlic, chilli, tomato puree, coriander, cumin and lemon juice. Season well with salt and pepper and add the fish, turning to coat with marinade.

Heat the oil in a heavy-based pot, add the onions and curry leaves and cook until golden brown. Add the marinated fish and cook for 5 minutes. Add 200ml of hot water and cook for 15 minutes until fish is done.

Serves: 6

Time: 30 minutes + 1 hour marinating.
